I was born in Ranchi, India. My father was a doctor in the army and his job required us to move to a new place every 2-3 years. Consequently, I have seen quite a bit of India except for the eastern part, which is supposed to be very scenic. After completing 12th standard (equivalent of junior college) in India, I moved to Singapore for pursuing a degree in computer science. Life at college was wonderful and taught me a lot academically and otherwise. I am now working in a leading research institute in Singapore in the field of bioinformatics. I am starting this blog with the intention of sharing my thoughts with people around the world and to make friends in the process.

I was searching for articles on kitchen utensils when I came across New blog, which is a bit weird really. I've enjoyed the experience but I'm not at all sure I've found what I'm looking for :0)

Well, I've enjoyed my visit to New blog, but I'm not sure it's what I was looking for. I was actually searching for articles on bread - these search engines are weird! Just thought I'd say hello while I'm here :0)
I think I've found a search engine with a sense of humor - I was actually looking for articles on publishing cookbooks, and here I am on a site called New blog. There's probably an electronic explanation for this and I have enjoyed the experience, so no harm done. Have a nice day nemo - if that's your real name :0)
